This form enables the retrieval of subsets of the stratigraphic splice data stored in the ocean drilling database. This data derives from the downhole depth-shifting and correlation of multiple core and logging datasets. The goal is to achieve a consistent and complete depth schema against which data from a site may be plotted for further comparison and analysis.
Splicer and Sagan are the tools used to depth-shift and correlate the input datasets. A custom tool, SplicerIntegrator, is used to record the affine and splice lookup tables in the central database.
Specify only those fields on which you wish to limit your query. For example, if you wanted to see information for one specific leg, fill in only the leg field and leave the remaining fields unchanged.
