About This Form

This form enables the retrieval of subsets of the whole core p-wave velocity data stored in the ocean drilling database. The data were acquired using the sonic velocity sensor on the whole-core muti-sensing track (WC-MST) system.

Enter those fields on which you want to limit the query. For example, if you wanted to see information for one specific hole, you would fill in the leg, site, and hole fields and leave the remaining fields blank. At least one of the leg, site, hole, and Core identifiers must be specified.

Depending on your location and network access method, it may not be efficient for you to download P-Wave Velocity data sets via the web. If this access method does not fulfill your data request needs, please contact the Data Librarian for further assistance.

The Velocity input fields allow you to filter the returned data such that only records within a particular velocity range are displayed. The lower and upper bounds may be specified singly or provided together.

The Output Raw Data checkbox causes additional calibration and standards data to be diplayed. See the Physical Properties Handbook link below for notes and background on the fields returned by this report.
