This image is ~100 m below the frontal thrust zone, close to the base of log Unit 2. The breakouts indicate that the orientation of the minimum horizontal compressive stress (₂) is ~northeast-southwest, which is in good agreement with the plate convergence vector of ~310°-315° aligned with the maximum compressive stress, ₁ (90° to ₂).
