SCIENCE UPDATE: Cores 305-U1309D-279R to -284R (1339.2 to 1372.8 mbsf, 73% recovery) are medium- to coarse grained, isotropic gabbro with a few intervals of olivine-bearing gabbro. Alteration is low to moderate (5% to 30%), more intense in local patches and along rare veins.
