Daily Science Report for 1 March 2009

LOCATION: In transit to Honolulu, Hawaii

SCIENCE UPDATE: The Readiness Assessment Team continues preparing assessment reports in parallel to finalizing science data for the expedition's preliminary report. Acceptance testing of the new natural gamma radiation multisensor logger is in progress. Technical documentation and user guides are being finalized. End of expedition activities are being planned and organized by the technical staff.

Ship highlight of the day: Publications Office

The Publications Office is staffed by the Publications Specialist, whose main duties are to assist the science party with the compilation of the Expedition Reports.
