IODP Expeditions

Research

  • General research interests: expand the knowledge of fluid flow and the development of pore pressures based on both laboratory-measured permeability values and numerical models at accretionary complexes. Specific objectives include
    • Synthesize permeability data and predict permeability-porosity relationships at four major convergent margins (northern Barbados, Costa Rica, Nankai, and Peru).
    • Investigate the evolution of pore pressures and implications for episodic fluid flow at the Barbados accretionary complex using a two-dimensional growth and flow model.
  • Publications
  • Curriculum Vitae

Professional Affiliations

  • Associate Research Scientist, Dept. of Oceanography, Texas A&M University
  • American Geophysical Union
  • Geological Society of America
