Ship highlight of the day: MST Logger

The multisensor track (MST) logger is used to measure physical properties of the core: magnetic susceptibility, bulk density, P-wave velocity, and resistivity.
A second MST logger is available for out-of-sequence measurements. The physical properties lab was enlarged by 59%.

See iodp.tamu.edu/labs/ship.html for more details on the ship's new laboratories.
