LOCATION: In transit to Guam across the Philippine Sea. Crossed second deepest point on Earth (Philippine Trench, 10,540 m at Mindanao Deep).

SCIENCE UPDATE: USIO pre-acceptance testing and acceptance team meetings in full swing. Planning for Readiness Assessment Committee arrival and preparation for testing activities ongoing.

Ship highlight of the day: Hospital & Doctor's Office

The hospital is equipped with two beds, a digital X-ray machine, a disabled-access bathroom, and facilities for minor surgical procedures.
