LOCATION: In transit to Guam across the Philippine Sea, currently NW of Palau.

SCIENCE UPDATE: USIO pre-acceptance and acceptance testing continues. Planning also continues for Readiness Assessment Committee (RAC) arrival and testing activities.

Ship highlight of the day: Lifeboats

There are four lifeboats on the JR and each can accommodate 70 people. They have a clear dome through which the pilot can navigate.
