IODP Expedition 397T
Following South Atlantic Transect (Expeditions 390/393), the ship entered a tie-up period that started on 7 August 2022 with a port call in Cape Town, South Africa. Following this, Transit and Return to Walvis Ridge Hotspot (Expedition 397T) started from Cape Town on 10 September 2022, and ended in Lisbon, Portugal, on 11 October 2022. Following a port call in Lisbon, the ship will depart on 16 October 2022 for the start of Iberian Margin Paleoclimate (Expedition 397).
