The gym contains several stationary bikes and rowing machines,two stairmaster, a good (for a ship!) selection of weights/machines, a ping pong table, steps for step aerobics, punching bags, and an audio-video system. The gym is one of only a few places on the ship to get away from the 12-hour, 7-days-a-week, two-month-long strenuous work schedule.
This deck contains large refrigerators to store core samples as well as a freezer to hold those samples which require frozen storage.
