Marcia Walker Sponsored Research Services/IODP General Manager, Leads and manages information technology activities: computer applications, development and integration, database management, analytical systems, portfolio of technology services in support of research, shipboard operations, and science data acquisition systems. Lorri Peters Manager of Publication Services Provides employee services to JRSO: administers the employment process; physical exam process; leave policies/procedures; and HR database. Reneé Weidemann Human Resources Manager Completes onboarding payroll processes for JRSO/TAMU employees; processes monthly TAMU payroll, bi-weekly payroll, monthly sea pay, and payment of holiday compensatory time; prepares monthly departmental payroll cost projections; coordinates with managers to formulate annual program plan budgets; acts as time and effort administrator. Ava Myers Human Resources Generalist I Provides all Human Resource services to JRSO: benefits; compensation; employee relations; employee training and development; worker's compensation; employment; performance management; and records. Vacant Human Resources Generalist Supervises all use, preservation, and promotion of (a) core and materials stored at the JRSO-GCR, (b) collected by JRSO Curatorial staff; and works with the curatorial staff of the Bremen and Kochi Repositories to ensure proper policy and procedures for JR core and materials. Michelle Penkrot Curator Supervises the GCR facility and core collection, Curatorial Specialists, and student workers. Chad Broyles Superintendent of GCR Serve as shipboard and shorebased curatorial specialist, responsible for shipboard core handling and sampling, as well as GCR legacy sampling, sample parties, visits, educational tours, and special curation-based projects. James Kowalski Curatorial Specialist II Serve as shipboard and shorebased curatorial specialist, responsible for shipboard core handling and sampling, as well as GCR legacy sampling, sample parties, visits, educational tours, and special curation-based projects. Carel Lewis Curatorial Specialist I Serve as shipboard and shorebased curatorial specialist, responsible for shipboard core handling and sampling, as well as GCR legacy sampling, sample parties, visits, educational tours, and special curation-based projects. Vacant Curatorial Specialist Vacant Program Aide Supports XRF and geochemistry lab facilities in Curation, oversees core scanning facility, acts as primary customer contact, trains new users, supervises daily lab activities, keeps all instruments in good working order, ensures facility complies with all relevant safety procedures and applicable regulations. Jesse Yeon XRF Lab Manager Provides direct administrative support to the Director, greets the public, answers telephone, provides information for building, provides HR support to JRSO employees.
