Sample Requests

If you are submitting a request for Expedition 346 Asian Monsoon, please go to http://web.iodp.tamu.edu/sdrm/.

Please review the IODP Sample, Data, and Obligations Policy before requesting samples. If you are not a member of the science party for recent expeditions, please check the sample moratorium dates.

The following resources are available to help you with your sample requests: DSDP, ODP and IODP Permanent Archive Lists; GCR whole thin section images in plane and cross polarized light; GCR working half core section images after most recent sampling; frozen (-86°C) microbiology archive samples.
